خلاصه داستان

Dokumenttisarja Ukrainan puolustajat perustuu sotilaiden ja siviilien kuvaamaan materiaaliin Ukrainan sodan todellisuudesta. Matkapuhelimilla ja kypäräkameroilla kuvattu sarja vie katsojan poikkeuksellisen lähelle sodan kauhuja. Ukrainan puolustajat seuraa suomalaisten ja ukrainalaisten vapaaehtoisten armotonta kamppailua eturintamalla ja sodan tuhojen keskellä. Sarjan päähenkilöt on löydetty sosiaalisen median kautta.
